Research data management (RDM) is an essential part of scientific work. Some research funders, including the European Commission and EURAMET, set precise obligations concerning RDM in their funding programs, including:

  • A formal commitment to Open Science and good RDM in JRP/CSP proposals;
  • Preparation and continuous update of a data management plan throughout a project lifetime;
  • The publication of research data separately from the related articles.

Besides these obligations, a correct management of the own research data helps organising and structuring the own work, increasing the impact of the own research output, guaranteeing the good scientific practice, preventing data loss.

The EURAMET project "TC-IM 1449 - Research data management in European metrology" helps you and your team with practical recommendations, tools and personal support.
For that purpose we have organised three online events dedicated to coordinators of EPM projects:

  • 2025-06-03: Web Tutorial 1: Motivation, obligations and support
  • 2025-06-12: Web Tutorial 2: Planning and data publication
  • 2025-06-20: Web Tutorial 3: Metadata and good practices

Each event will be 90 min long, starting at 14:00 CEST (12:00 UTC).
